Engagement rumors, marriage rumors, prenup and now alleged breakup. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s relationship has been through it all and now the legitimacy of the relationship is being questioned by the fans. As of late, a certain ‘breakup contract’ had been making rounds online and Kelce’s team finally reacted on them.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are undoubtedly the power couple of NFL, with a cult support backing them up. Hence, it was natural for the internet to break down into shambles when the details of the couple’s alleged breakup were revealed to the internet. The document gave a precise description of how Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will be calling it quits and how the aftermaths will be handled. According to DailyMail, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s PR team has now come forth with the claim that the documents were fake, and the couple has no intention of breaking up.
What gave the fans more reliability of the accuracy of the document spread online was the fact that it had Kelce’s US PR company’s mark. The announcement revealed the set date for the breakup was September 28. It also detailed a plan to release an official statement at the end of the month, which will be three days ‘post-break up’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity’. According to the team, the breakup was planned to be peaceful and cordial.
The whole fiasco went to an extent that the representatives of Travis Kelce and the Full Scope PR team called in lawyers. They further called it “unlawful and injurious forgery of documents”. However, the internet still remains divided with many not believing the ‘cover-up’ statement by the team.
The break-up document first surfaced on the social media platform Reddit. However, no social media platform was left silent in the wake of the alleged sham. Fans did not hold back their opinions and criticisms in the frenzied state of allegedly being tricked into what they are calling an elaborate publicity stunt.
Meanwhile some came in defense of the couple, giving logical reasoning for the document to be fake. The document was clear enough for people to point out that they felt it was written by gpt. Some even deduced it to have been written by an eighth grader.
Nobody actually knows if it was fake or real, be it the relationship or the document. Although the fans did not find any logical proofs that would hint the couple might break up, they are still keeping an eye out on 28th September for any big news about the couple.
